Yogi Ji was born in 1983 into a Rajput family with spiritual connections in Dharkot, a village in the Himalayas on the way to Gangotri.

Yogi ji spent his early childhood with his mother, an extended family of siblings and cousins and his Grandfather, the village Priest or Shaman who was known to have the Blessings of the Gods and Goddesses. This was Yogiji’s first source of initiation into spiritual life.
