Deepak Sharma is the co- founder and course director of Sampoorna Yoga. He has been practicing yoga, its philosophy and meditation for over 12 years. Deepak learned Yoga from his father, and various other teachers from the Satyananda and Sivananda Yoga tradition, with whom he studied traditional shatkarma, pranayama and asana whilst growing up. He is a direct disciple of Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati (Bihar School of Yoga). There are many guest houses and village homes within five to ten minutes walk from the yoga school, with rent ranging from INR 300-700 per night with hot water and western style bathrooms. They are mostly run by locals and are good for their price. The price of the rooms varies according to the size and facilities at the guest house. Most of these guest houses are run by local villagers and have no website or Wi-Fi. Finding a room here is very easy. The most beautiful and love-filled words could possibly not describe my experience at Sampoorna Yoga. Maybe what best describes my experience is how much I cried when I had to leave! All my fears and hesitations about whether I was ready to do this course have been distinguished by the love and acceptance of the teachers straight away. The course is built in a great way, as it leads to so much knowledge and peace in a way that is gentle but firm, while always considering every students abilities. The teachers are full of knowledge and wisdom and they make you feel how much they love sharing....
