Lalit Kumar is a RYT and Senior Teacher at Himalaya Yoga Valley and has been teaching yoga in India and internationally for over 20 years. Practising yoga from the age of seven years, learning through the traditional Indian Gurukulam system, Lalit was initiated by Swami Veda Bharati, the disciple of Swami Rama of the Himalayas and is a student of Shri BNS Iyengar, the disciple of T Krishnamacharaya of Mysore. He spent eight years in Ashrams such as the Swami Ram Sadak Dhyana Gurukulam and the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram, where he studied Yoga and Vedanta philosophy.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have completed my yoga teacher training at Himalaya Yoga Valley. The experience has benefited me hugely and I am now confidently teaching both private and studio classes regularly.
