Akhilesh was born and raised in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh in Northern India. He left his family in 1987 after graduating from Lucknow University.

Akhilesh joined the Chinmya Mission, where he studied and lived with Swami Chinmayananda for two years. Still, his urge to find practical solutions to his questions pushed him onward. He went for an extended pilgrimage, moving from ashram to ashram.

Daily schedule (rundown example):

6.30 am: Meditation
7:30 am : Breakfast
8.30 am : Yoga asana
12:00 pm : Lunch
12.30 pm : Karma Yoga
4 .00 pm : Yoga Asana Pranayama and chanting (body postures and breathing exercises)
7:00 pm : Dinner
8:00 pm : Satsang

First day of the course starts with introduction of Yoga - it's various forms, benefits and practices ; followed by a brief introduction of Teacher with the students.

Neo Yoga center provides lodging facilities to students. A student is provided with an independent room . Every huts/room contained having attached toilet, A bed, mattress, blankets, sheets and pillow are also provided.

A laundry service is available in the center at cost.

Note - We provide Yoga Mats to the students to use during the course at NO extra charge.
Boarding-

Dining room provides pure vegetarian food in accordance with the yoga life style; the food is on spicy.
