AYS or Advanced Yoga Study (AYS) is conducted by Health and Yoga in association with Ved Niketan, Rishikesh, India.

This course introduces the science of Yoga, Ayurveda, Tantra, Vedanta, Indian Spirituality, Phylosophy Religious and Social Traditions… that is if one were to put in a sentence what this book is about!!

Through this course, you will become aware of esoteric subjects such as the Spiritual Eye, Concept of World Ages (Yuga), Laws of Re-incarnation etc. There is a also a very enlightening section on Spiritual Aids including select mantras, Bhajans and Kirtans, Fasting and much more.

Duration of the Course: 1 month Residential in Rishikesh, the world capital of Yoga. You will be under the care of the Himalayan Gurus,  all practicing yogis experience in the science of Yoga.

Important:
Please bear in mind that this is a rough schedule of the course during the weekends. Our Gurus may coordinate with you and reschedule or add more sessions as they feel necessary 
During the course, you will be staying at one of the Ashrams in Swargashram (Rishikesh) as per availability. 
The course and the classes will be conducted at Ved Niketan, which will be within five minutes distance from your place of stay. The breakfast and meals will be organised at the Ashram of stay.

Accommodation: There are about 1,000 residential rooms that retain the simplicity of ashram living and yet are equipped with the necessary modern facilities. All rooms have attached, Western style bathrooms and many have hot, running water. All linens are provided. The ashram provides a clean, pure and sacred atmosphere to thousands of pilgrims and devotees. There is no charge for pilgrims or devotees to stay here; everything is run on a purely donation basis. Whatever visitors feel inspired and able to give is greatly appreciated, and all donations are used for the beautification of the ashram and for the continuation of its services. Please note that the Ashram stay is basic. Some of our clients have even described their Ashram stay as a culture shock. Even though the rooms have all necessary facilities including beddings, blankets and attached baths, however, please do not expect a 5-star reception or welcome here. This is NOT a hotel and for most part you will have to find your way around; of course, the Healthandyoga team will always be only a simple phone call away. Please note that the Ashram stay is basic.
