| How to reduce the kleshas to their dormant form Te Pratiprasava heyah sukshmah (PYS-Ch2, Su-10). The klesha are reduced to their seed form by resolving them backward to their origin. The process of development of avidya into its final expression abhinivesha is a casual process, one stage naturally leading to the other. The removal involves the reverse process of resolving abhinivesha to raga-dwesha to asmita to avidya and avidya to enlightenment. This tracing backward is not an intellectual process The fact that the kleshas remain in their seed form to is of great importance. It is these unscorched seeds which accounts for the sudden and unexpected fall of yogis after they have reached great heights of illumination and power. This process of resolving backward is achieved by meditation. ‘Dhyana-heyas tad-vrittayah'(Phs-Ch2, Su 11). The active state of the kleshas are brought to their dormant state by meditation. How to destroy the seeds completely By entering into samadhi and proceeding to higher and higher stages of samadhi till we reach the highest stage of Nirvikalpa samadhi where in all the seeds are totally destroyed. Pain due to weakness /handicap - Bear cheerfully -

Pain due to loss of wealth, job, death or separation - Resolutely divert the mind to something positive. -
Pain due to injustice or unfair criticism - Be indifferent -
Pain due to conflicting emotions, - Proper understanding & or negative emotions like anger, jealousy etc. exercising of will power. |
