Do not throw away food. Do not leave food in the plate. Offer a prayer before you eat. Eat silently and slowly. Chew the food properly. Eat when you are hungry.
Modern consumerism forces us, ‘to use and throw away'. This is wrong. It increases needs and creates unnecessary tension and worries. Let us learn to, ‘use conserve and reuse'.
