You need to spread your legs 3-4 feet apart and bend forward at your HIPS and not the waist. Thus, your back should be straight when you bend, it should not simply “hunch” forward. Hold the position for 5-6 breath and come back up.

If your aim is to get a flat stomach or toned stomach then this is the best post to practice as it works directly on you abdominal muscles. Place your hand on the ground and raise your legs and your upper body forming a boat pose where you balance your body on your buttocks. Hold for 30 seconds and lie back.





This asana is perfect for your abs. Start with the simple plank position where you lie with your palms face down and toes together. Now, tilt your body to the so that the outer side of your right foot touches the mat and you balance your body on them and your right arm while you leave your left arm from the ground and raise it above parallel to your shoulder. Hold for 30 seconds before coming back to the Savasana position.





Known as the chair pose because of the posture this asana is perfect for weight loss. You need to stand straight with your feet together and then quart in a manner that you are sitting on a chair, then stretch your hands above your head. Hold for 30 seconds and stand up straight.
