Swami Guruprem Saraswati is a person who has evolved through a period of 6 pregnancies. From her first pregnancy as an immature girl with hardly any knowledge, she has grown progressively until her sixth pregnancy in which she actually underwent a self-performed childbirth.
These books and teaching material have been based on her experiences and evolving knowledge of yoga. During this growth, her experiences have transformed from:

- Complexity to Simplicity
- Intervention to Self Reliance
She has actually put down as case studies, her own experiences and stories to provide a complete practical insight.
Her pregnancies and parenting experiences have been extremely diverse and range from single, unsupported and inharmonious married experiences to supported community living.
These different phases have afforded her different ways of experiencing motherhood.
She presently is a yoga sanyasin and lives with her last 5 children ranging from 4 - 14 years of age. She is an Integral Yoga teacher, natural childbirth educator, spiritual midwife, whole foods educator, home-birther and home-schooler.
In her 20 years of motherhood and yoga experience, she has conducted public & private yoga classes, seminars, workshops, retreats, whole foods cooking courses, as well as helped counsel many women towards a healthier, more natural lifestyle.
She currently resides and teaches in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
