Has soap ever cured skin disorders or skin diseases of ANY kind???
Let's examine why we use soap in the first place: 1. To clean the skin of dirt and grime, 2. To feel fresh and fragrant, 3. To treat minor skin infections or for oily skin treatment
Now for the Reality
Most of the modern soaps give a "clean" feeling by emphasizing the "fragrance" aspect. This, psychologically, help you feel fresh and therefore "clean". Nothing could be farther from the truth. Many of the cosmetic soaps and other "skin care" products contain harmful chemicals that in fact clog the pores. This results in skin irritation, rash and allergies. The petrochemical compounds and the mineral oil base that these soaps contain aggravate these conditions. Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), which is a vital ingredient in most of the soaps can cause cancer, eye damage and even alter the genetic material in cells. Chemical - based soaps also result in the hardening of toxins and body oils. These worsen the clogging of the skin and overtime this results in mal effects in the form of rashes, acne and even more serious skin infections.
What to use for a clean and fragrant skin?
